CEE Summeracademy Vorau 2008

The annual summer academy 2008 was again in the monastery Vorau, Styria, Austria. This years subcejts were “Cosi fan tutte” by W. A. Mozart and “Ernani” by G. Verdi. The singers had the chance to work intensive with Jendrik Springer, Speranza Scappucci and David Crescenzi as musical coachs on the interpretation of this pieces. The scenic work was this year led by Liis Kolle.
At the final concert for friends of CEE Musiktheater and the local public, the singers presented their successful work. The audience appreciated it.

CEE - Sommeracademy Vorau 2007

The annual summer academy of CEE Musiktheater was 2007 place at the monastery Vorau in Styria, from the 27 th of June until the 6 th of July 2007. The working subject this year was “the Italian Opera”. Mrs. Speranza Scappuci (solo-repetitor at the Vienna State Opera) as musical coach, and Mr. Nicola Mottaran as repetitor worked intensive on the interpretation of Italian arias with the scholarship holders from Croatia, Serbia, Rumania, Albania, Georgia and Macedonia. At the evening activities with the stage director Mrs. Uschi Horner, the singers got the additional possibility to improve their acting skills. The final concert on 6 th of July 2007, where friends and sponsors of CEE Musiktheater and local guests of the monastery participated, was a great pleasure for the audience and the singers.

CEE - Sommeracademy Heiligenkreuz 2006

The summer academy 2006 took place in the monastery Heiligenkreuz. 17 scholarship holders of 9 partner opera houses were invited. The tutors team with KS Bernd Weikl, David Crescenzi, Ariadna Zagrean and Alexander Radulescu lead the workshop with the main focus on the Opera “Le nozze di Figaro” of W. A. Mozart. Following the summer academy the singers will perform this Opera at the National Opera Houses Bucharest and Timisoara ( Rumania). Beside the determined musical work on roles and ensembles they also focused on the improvement of the scenic performance in the acting classes. The final concert at the Kaisersaal (emperor hall) of the monastery, where invited guests of the sponsor of the sponsor American Express attended, was a great ending of this summer academy. The encouragement of the audience established the basis for the success of the premieres of “Le nozze di Figaro” in Rumania.

CEE - Sommeracademy Heiligenkreuz 2005

The first CEE – Summer Academy took place in the monastery Heiligenkreuz from June 27th to July 3rd 2005. 28 scholarship holders participated in the master classes of KS Ileana Cotrubas und KS Olivera Miljakovic. The theatre workshop was organised by Dr. Angela Zabrsa.
