Opera House Skopje & Opera House Sofia
Just in time for the Mozart year 2006 CEE- Musiktheater managed to organize a co production of the Opera „The magic flute“ at the Opera Houses Skopje and Sofia. The opera is sung in German, the opening night in Skopje on the 17th of February is conducted by Borjan Carnev, the opening night in Sofia on the 20 th of May 2006 by Boris Spassov. Angela Zabrsa is the stage director; Anna Strobl is responsible for stage and costume design. Interesting enough the popular opera has not been played in Sofia since over 10 years.
